Are Zodiac Watches Still Being Made?
Zodiac Watches
Founded in 1882, zodiac watches are one of the oldest vintage brands globally, even if the name Zodiac wasn’t registered until the 90s. They introduced the world to the first purpose-built dive watch, the Sea Wolf.
The original brand went bankrupt in November 1997, and the trademark was purchased by Genender International, Inc in September of 1998. Most of the 1990s watch lines were discontinued, with 2 exceptions, The Super Sea Wolf and the Marine Life.
The brand had a revival in 2001 when The Fossil Group bought it. This led to the brand taking a new, more modern direction.
At this point, you might be wondering, “Do they still made Zodiac watches?”

The answer is yes!
In 2015, the brand relaunched two editions of their iconic Sea Wolf watches in gorgeous vintage-inspired style. So if you’re someone interested in vintage zodiac watches, the Skin Diver and Diver watches might be right for you.
Of course, if you’re looking for authentic vintage watches, those can also be found. There are some series that are rarer than others that will naturally be more difficult to find. Those series include but are not limited to: The Point Series, The Sea Wolf, Sea-Chron, and Aeronaut and Aerospace.
If you’re an outdoor enthusiast looking for a zodiac watch, then the Zodiac Mission Extreme line is perfect for you.
Zodiac watches have been around for an extremely long time, and they’ve cemented themselves as a brand that’s here to stay.
