This Frogman pays homage to the three-striped poison dart frog found in South American rainforests, expressing the frog’s toughness and vivid warning coloration with a bold green and black design.
Bold vertical stripes in fluorescent green stand out against a black base for a striking, rugged look that showcases the dart frog’s intensity. The band and bezel are finished with a spray coating to evoke the texture of the frog’s skin. And the case back is, of course, engraved with the iconic diving frog character featured on every Frogman timepiece.
Tough Solar eliminates the need for regular battery replacement, keeping even the most power-hungry functions running smoothly on even small amounts of indoor light. Key resin components used in the bezel and band are made with bio-based resin.
* The three-striped poison dart frog takes its name from the fact that its venom was extracted and applied to blow darts used for hunting.
