What a joy to introduce the Hank Aaron Limited Edition, named after the great humanitarian and baseball Hall-of-Famer Hank Aaron. Aaron never courted the limelight, but his achievements on and off the field meant it always found him. In 1974, he broke Babe Ruth’s near-40-year home-run record. Despite his successes and the adulation that followed, Hank was always known for his grace and humility.
The watch is based on the Big Crown Pointer Date. We’ve detailed it with blue, red and white to echo the uniform of Hank Aaron, and finished it with a blue leather strap with baseball-glove stitching. It also comes with a blue, red and white NATO strap. We’re making 2,297 examples – one for each of Hank’s RBIs (runs batted in), still a Major League Baseball record. The watch supports the work of the Chasing the Dream Foundation.
