Topped with a box-shaped sapphire crystal, forged at temperatures over 2,000°C and coated with anti-reflective layers on both sides, the crystal offers exceptional clarity and scratch resistance, only surpassed by diamond in hardness. At its core beats the Calibre R763, a self-winding movement developed for uncompromising reliability. Engineered with 25 jewels and regulated in five positions, it ensures precise timekeeping under the most demanding conditions. The movement is equipped with an antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring. With a robust 80-hour power reserve, the R763 exemplifies technical mastery and mechanical resilience, embodying the spirit of Swiss engineering and Rado’s continued pursuit of horological excellence. The black to turquoise gradient dial reflects a pure expression of refined aesthetics. The Certina DS Action Diver 40.5mm is the perfect size. Komail from Time Machine helped me choose the right size, and he was absolutely spot on. For reference, I have a 7-inch wrist, and the watch wears beautifully. It has some presence without feeling oversized.
